Hi ~ I did not expect to be writing in the forum yet again for a second formal request and that too for a suspended eggdrop account. Actually I was suspended both the times for the same reason ~ darkarcher - Too much CPU Load AGAIN. I dun get it .Infact, I had some tcl scripts removed after the last suspension which I thought was draining the shell resources. I think extra load problem peaked up after installing a script named Entertainment. It's a cool script and does a lot of entertaining - i.e. funny greetings, making the bot talk etc.. It makes my room more lively and the prattlers happier But I guess I'll have to do away with the script henceforth.
Secondly, is there some way of checking cpu usage by my bot? If there is ... it would make it much easier for me to figure out "when and what scripts" are adding up to cpu load and accordingly I can make adjustments to the bot.

We understand you need your eggdrop but other users also need theirs and when cpu gets higher and higher in usage the server is lagging and dropping all users.
You had your chance at first and could fix it but instead it loads again. We admins instead of improving the service and make new stuff need to spare too much time on monitoring the servers and checking for abusers flooders and why our ip's are g-lined from larger networks. We think that this time we spend could be spend for something better like creating better service and helping more users with their problems. Therefore allowing buggy eggdrops or abusers more than one chance to redeem themselves costs us to spend more time on monitoring them and fixing the servers when they abuse, instead of helping users on #fewona or spending time to improve the service.
Don't get me wrong it is not personal but if you were power user or premium we would give you third chance but since you are not we must be fair to others and not allow you more.
However because you are not abusive we hope you will stay, be supportive to others and show all of us that you deserve a third chance. We like you and if we see that we will unsuspend you.

I understand the responsibilities and the tasks the admins and staffs have to shoulder on a regular basis and I apologize for my carelessness to monitor cpu load generated by my bot. All of you are nice people and I hold onto the decisions made by the admins and staffs since they know what is best for the fewona community at large. Anyway, I wanted to thank you all for giving me a chance the first time I got suspended. All of us make mistakes and learn from them. My mistake was in believing that by deleting some unwanted tcl's, it might set things right and I did just that. I was wrong again !! Considering the lags imposed by my bot on the server and the time spent by the staffs to fix the problem, it would be appropriate to say that the decision was absolutely flawless for the moment. However this was supposed to be the second chance and not the third one. ~ Best regards !!

Maybe there will be third one, please read in google how to use htop and top. Tomorrow me and other staff will review again your request. You seem to understand why you are suspended and probably will fix your eggdrop and monitor if it gets bugged so you will do no harm to other users and there is a reason to unsuspend you.
